The world of aviation was treated to a truly unique character during the 1920's and beyond. "Pancho" Barnes ' resume reads like a fictional tale:

  • 1st woman to fly the Interior of Mexico
  • Participant in the 1st Powder Puff Derby
  • Renowned Hollywood Stunt Pilot and incentive for the Associated Motion Picture Pilots Association

Her ranch, named "THE HAPPY BOTTOM RIDING CLUB" hosted an array of celebrities - military and Hollywood alike. Known to a wide variety of people, Pancho Barnes will be forever remembered and worthy of a place in history.
